^{May 17, 2021} NECA RECOGNIZES STURGEON ELECTRIC DISTRICTS FOR SAFETY EXCELLENCE IN 2021

ANCHORAGE, ALASKA DISTRICT ALSO EARNS ZERO INJURY AWARD

The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) recently recognized four Sturgeon Electric Company, Inc. districts with 2021 Safety Excellence Awards.

The operations districts that received the honor were Anchorage, Alaska; Auburn, Wash.; Henderson, Colo.; and Phoenix, Ariz. The Recognition of Achievement of Zero Injury Award also went to the Anchorage, Alaska district.

NECA’s Recognition of Safety Achievement program recognizes thriving companies that excel in multiple areas of their safety and health programs. It recognizes member companies that consistently have OSHA recordable injury and fatality rates at levels lower than the industry standard and implement internal company safety practices above and beyond basic compliance.
