May 1, 2024 Sturgeon Electric Recognized for NECA 2024 Safety Excellence and Zero Injury
FIVE DISTRICTS RECOGNIZED FOR SAFETY EXCELLENCE; ONE DISTRICT AWARDED ZERO INJURY STATUS
Safety is at the heart of Sturgeon Electric Company and Sturgeon Electric California, deeply ingrained within our culture and resonating throughout MYR Group. This month, the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) honored Sturgeon Electric Company and Sturgeon Electric California, along with four other MYR Group subsidiaries (Harlan Electric, Huen Electric, and L.E. Myers) for their outstanding commitment to safety. Across these five MYR Group subsidiaries, nine districts attained Safety Excellence awards, while two districts won Zero Injury recognition for their performance in 2023.
NECA announced its premier recognition program, highlighting contractors’ exemplary safety performance on April 15th. Five of our districts were recognized for their achievements in safety excellence and zero- injury.
