^{October 7, 2025} Sturgeon Electric’s 2025 Ride & Rally Raises Nearly $100K for Veteran Support Animals

COLORADO DISTRICT RAISES NEARLY $100K FOR FREEDOM SERVICE DOGS OF AMERICA

For the past 10 years, Sturgeon Electric Company has proudly hosted its annual charity ride and rally in support of Freedom Service Dogs of America. This remarkable organization trains dogs to provide life-changing services for individuals in need, including veterans with PTSD and people with disabilities who require assistance with daily activities. The average cost to train and place one of these exceptional animals is $30,000.

Since its inaugural event in 2015, the Sturgeon Electric Poker Run has continually raised the bar, attracting more riders, offering bigger and better raffle prizes, and most importantly, providing significant financial support for this worthy cause. This year was another success with a record 508 participants and more than $20,000 in prizes. Through the combined efforts of Sturgeon Electric and our community partners, nearly $100,000 was raised and donated to Freedom Service Dogs on our behalf.
