Cholla 345kV Emergency Rebuild
|Client||Arizona Public Services|
After a winter storm damaged a 345kV lattice tower and broke the conductor over the Mogollon Rim in Arizona, Sturgeon Electric crews responded first to ensure the site was safe, then removed the damaged lattice and conductor, and repaired the equipment. Over the course of several weeks, they worked closely with Arizona Public Service to install new foundations and a lattice tower and approximately one mile of new conductor over the edge of the Mogollon Rim. Later in the year Sturgeon Electric returned to replace two lattice towers and upgrade the conductor on the adjacent 345kV circuit over the Mogollon Rim.
