^{July 14, 2022} Sturgeon Electric Raises $34k For Children’s Cancer Research!

Sturgeon Electric hosts “brave the shave” supporting St. Baldrick’s Foundation

Sturgeon Electric employees, friends, and family gathered at the Henderson, CO facility in late June to volunteer, donate and shave their heads to raise money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. We were honored to support a charity that funds research to find cures for childhood cancers. 

Although it was Sturgeon’s first-ever head-shaving event for this children’s cancer research charity, “Brave the Shave” dramatically surpassed its initial fundraising goal of $5,000. When everything was counted, a whopping $34,341 was raised and more than 40 heads freshly shaved!

Thank you all for your generosity and participation, and to all those who volunteered time to make this a successful event. We are grateful to all our friends and family who joined us and participated this year to support and honor this amazing cause.
