Three Mile Knoll Transmission Line and Substation

Location: Idaho

Description: This Engineer-Procure-Construct (EPC) project consisted of the construction of a new 345kV/138kV Greenfield substation and approximately 10 miles of new 138kV transmission line for six different lines from the new substation. Sturgeon Electric Company was the prime contractor and Stanley Consultants performed engineering and associated services. Work included assembly and erection of steel and wood monopoles and H-frame structures; OPGW and a communications fiber ring.
